TextMyGov

The Town of Morrison is thrilled to introduce TextMyGov, a convenient and smart text messaging service! This service will enable residents, businesses, and visitors to effortlessly receive important notifications and easily find specific information by texting the Town.

The Town will officially launch the new text messaging system to the public in April, 2025. Residents and businesses may receive a text message from 91896 from the Town initiating the service. You can choose to opt-out at any time by texting STOP.

If you don’t receive the initial message, you can choose to opt-in by texting the keyword "MORRISON" to the number 91896. After sending the initial keyword, you will be asked to reply “YES” to confirm opt-in. Residents and businesses may receive notifications and reminders for weather-related emergencies and closings, utility (main line breaks, repairs, etc.), board meeting reminders, events, etc.

Additionally, on-demand information is available 24/7 by texting 1-2 keywords to the Town’s TextMyGov number, 720-730-7879. You will be able to get quick information about restaurants, shopping, events, elections, board meetings, weather, parks and trails, and other Town information.
